Description
The NAC 9824 DC room air cooler is a specialized, highly efficient evaporative cooling system designed exclusively for direct 12V DC power systems. Featuring a distinctive circular front grill shroud similar to the premium AC design variants, this model uses a specialized 5-wing aerodynamic fan blade engineered to optimize static pressure and air throw at low voltages. Running on a mere 35W–48W, the unit bypasses the energy conversion losses of power inverters, making it an excellent match for direct off-grid solar panels, deep-cycle batteries, or dedicated DC power stations.

Internally, the cooler uses a 100% pure copper-wound 12V DC motor that operates smoothly at 1450 RPM, resisting thermal buildup even during non-stop daytime operation in peak summer climates. A low-voltage, continuous-duty water pump draws from the massive 65-liter internal reservoir to keep the thick, 3-sided prime honeycomb panels fully saturated. The top control deck features tactile dual rotary dials for direct speed selection and pump control, while a clear vertical water level indicator on the front panel helps prevent dry running.
