To maintain indoor air quality, this model features Haier’s patented Cold Expansion Technology. It freezes the evaporator surface to lock in dust, mold, and bacteria, then flushes them away as the ice melts. This is followed by a 56°C high-temperature drying phase that achieves 99.9% sterilization, killing pathogens and preventing the “stale” smell often found in older AC units.
